TIme flies

My how times flies I cannot believe that Paulina 1st birthday is just around the corner and it feels like just yesterday I was in the labor and delivery room waiting for her to be born.

Awesome picture huh? It took several tries and disappointments for us to finally have are little one and I can honestly say that  would not have changed what Bobby and I went through for anything. We are truly blessed to have Paulina in our lives.  I remember them pushing me into surgery, my heart was racing I was so nervous and excited at the same time. She was finally born and thats when I heard the greatest sound ...her cry, and tthen i was able to  finally breath because she was here. 

 

I will never forget the look in Bobby's eyes when he saw his daughter for the first time...it was truly priceless. He was so overwhelmed he almost for got to take pictures.

This year has blown by so fast, it is amazing how she fast she is growing and just being able to witness her  character form is incredible. She has already learned so many things....she loves giving ojitos (pretty eyes), waiving and clapping. She is now giving besos (kisses) and and doing  Las hojitas ..thank you Welo for teaching her this..Te quiero tanto.

Not doing it well

OK so I thought I was be doing great at bloggin but i am a slacker. I mean I have tons to say and I think i am a pretty funny girl....wouldnt you say so ?
So friends I am havinf a hard time with this blogg thing ,,,so can anyone give me any pointers? if so that would be awesome.

Another day another dollar

Only 12 more days...only 12 more days...I have to keep saying only 12 more days and I will be getting out for summer I cant even stand it. The first summer with Paulina we are going to have so much fun every single day ...oh wait what did I do ...yup that's right I signed up to work for the month of June I am such an idiot. It really shouldn't be too bad ...I get to make my own hours, work how ever much I want and it pays pretty well. Sweet huh?? Nope wrong I will be doing in home training for children with Autism I love my job but going into others home I am not sure how I feel about this. This will be new for me granted I have helped my friends who needed help with their children but I will going into complete strangers homes to provide them with training on how to help their child with Autism. Will they like me and my strategies...I sure hope so. I am doing it for a great cause...right?

I will just have to make it up to Paulina with trips and shopping at  Mommy's favorite store ...Nordstroms oh I mean Paulina's favorite store...Nordstroms.

5k

As some of you may already know I completed my first 5k last weekend. I ran for the fight against SIDS. Being a new mother I felt this was important run and I was doing with with a good friend and her twin daughters so how could I resist. The only problem was that I was running/jogging/speed walking with my daughter and I do not have a jogging stroller. Yeah not a great idea although it was fun I am sure my daughter didn't appreciate that she could feel every bump in the road. So on the do to list is to but a jogging stroller because I will be doing another 5k oh yeah did I mention I loath running.

So..... I am going to try this blog thing ...let see how I do

So I (miss I think I am pretty athletic) decided that I wanted to play volleyball on my school team. There is a tournament coming up, where the schools have team and they play against each other. Easy enough right...well not so much. I haven't played in quite a long time and as I stood there on the court waiting for the team to hit the ball all I could think about was please don't hit my face...please don't hit my face in front of all these people that would be so embarrassing. First hit...whew I made it thought it. The ball gets hit my way and ( thinking in my head oh goodness please make it over the net ...well it didn't. I looked like a total fool but at least I had fun and we won both our games. SO now on to tomorrows game ...hope i don't get hit in the face...I don't need my nose any bigger.
